What we collect
Travelist may collect basic contact details when you submit a form, including your name, email address, message, business details, and the page you submitted from.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, review corrections, evaluate listing requests, improve guides, and protect the site from spam or abuse.
Where form data is stored
Contact and listing enquiries are stored in Travelist's privately managed database. We do not sell form submissions or use them to build advertising profiles.
Analytics and logs
Our first-party measurement stores daily totals for guide views, generated plans, saved trips, outgoing booking-link clicks, and successfully saved enquiries. It records the page path and a broad source category, not search terms, full referring URLs, IP addresses, email addresses, visitor identifiers, or precise locations. These aggregate totals are kept for up to 90 days and are not unique-visitor counts. We do not set analytics cookies or send these events to an advertising network. IP addresses are used only in a temporary server-memory rate limit. Separate web-server logs may contain request and security information.
Saved trip plans
When you save or edit a trip, its itinerary, optional dates and notes, and preparation checklist are stored in this browser's local storage. They are not synced to an account or uploaded as a personal itinerary. Backup exports are files you download and control; backup imports are read in your browser, not uploaded to our server. You can remove trips on My trips or clear browser storage. Avoid storing passport, payment, or other sensitive details in trip notes, and keep backup files private.
